ABOUT

I’m an experienced home baker based in East Lothian. Having grown up on a farm my first baking experiences were in the farmhouse kitchen with my Gran. She taught me the basics and from there I progressed from rock cakes and pancakes to cakes decorated with fondant icing and buttercream, birthday cakes, wedding cakes and celebration cakes and cupcakes for my friends and family.

After lots of encouragement over the years, from those closest to me, I finally decided to set up Jill's Cakes and officially put my hobby into a business.

My work is focused on producing quality results and making a significant impact. I truly love what I do and I hope that shows in the cakes I produce.
